Sam Rosen started making websites when he was 14 years old which is around the time he self published his first (and only) title, Pure Truth. After a brief stint at the prestigious Pasadena College of Art and Design, Sam has earned his stripes as a serial entrepreneur, founded multiple innovative companies, principally One Design Company. One Design has a well earned reputation for marketing sense, fresh design and harnessing collaborative power, One Design focuses on building state of the art, well designed web applications and has done successfully all over the world for clients such as Groupon, Xerox, Threadless, University of Chicago, University of Pittsburgh, Blackbird, Avec & Publican Restaurant, Rag & Bone, Beam Global, Unison, SVA, Obama for America, AIGA, LG, New York Magazine, DePaul University, Effen Vodka, and many many more.
Sam’s latest venture Desktime is the premier way to find shared workspaces in Chicago. Sam also founded The Coop, one of Chicago's first and premier coworking spaces. In his rare spare time he is a founding member of highly regarded Post Family. The Post Family is an art collaborative, gallery, shop and blog that has world-wide following. Sam and The Post Family has been featured in HOW Magazine, Urban Outfitters Blog, Swissmiss, Urban Daddy, Coudal Chicago, Gizmodo, Timeout, Daily Candy, AIGA Chicago, Apartment Therapy, Chicago Tribune, Redeye, Chicago Reader, Chicago Social and plenty others.
When Sam isn't working on changing the world with his computer, he's typically hanging out with his Dog Eli, or sleeping.
